Maxillofacial/Head and Neck

Maxillofacial/Head and Neck Research consists of a dedicated team of seven with an increasing portfolio of clinical trials researching treatment methods for head and neck cancer. The broad aims of the team are to;

  • Improve quality of life
  • Reduce the toxicity of treatment
  • Lower cancer recurrence risks

The team is nationally and internationally award winning having presented their work at British, European and World meetings and gaining the International Research prize for the Bradford Sponsored LIHNCS trial at the 8th International Head and Neck Cancer Conference.

Through continued head and neck cancer research, developments in treatment are established which leads to improved survival and greater quality of life for patients. The team strives to find novel and enhanced treatment that will benefit head and neck cancer patients.

"To develop enhanced and novel treatments in order to improve the survival and quality of life for our patients."
