Ms Magda Jordao

Research Assistant


Magda Jordao joined the Academic Unit for Elderly Care and Rehabilitation in November 2019 as a Research Assistant. She has a background in Psychology and received a BA in Psychological Sciences and a MSc in Clinical Psychogerontology whilst studying at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. Currently, Magda is close to completing her PhD in Neuropsychology, which included a systematic review and meta-analysis examining age-related changes in the frequency of spontaneous thoughts. Previously, Magda’s research included how to use physical action to improve memory in older people, and collaborated with University of the Third Age as a Clinical Psychologist in primary care. Her role with the unit will include assisting in systematic reviews.”
