Dr Oliver Todd is a PhD Doctoral Research Fellow funded by the Dunhill Medical trust at the Academic Unit for Ageing and Stroke Research and specialist registrar in geriatrics and internal medicine at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Oly trained at Imperial College London, completed core medical training in Edinburgh, and went to work in Bielefeld, Germany where he led an observational study investigating the association between sleep disruption and delirium. Before coming to Bradford, he worked as medical registrar at St Francis Hospital, Katete, Zambia where he performed a delirium prevalence study in collaboration with Newcastle University. He is currently carrying out a PhD identifying the optimal blood pressure for frail older people. He is supervised by Dr Andy Clegg, Dr Marlous Hall, Professor Chris Gale, Mary Godfrey and Professor John Young.
