Ridha Ramiz is a Research Assistant working in systematic reviews and network meta-analysis. She is currently working on a systematic review and network meta-analysis about community-based complex interventions for independence of older people.
Ridha completed her BSc Human Biology (Hons) at Manchester Metropolitan University. She has experience in systematic reviews and a meta-analysis focused on Parkinson’s Disease. Following this she completed an MSc Clinical Neurology degree at The University of Sheffield. Ridha has gained research experience as a Clinical Trials Assistant at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust. She worked on the Haematology, Stroke and Breast portfolios. Ridha also has extensive experience working as a Care Assistant in a residential care home for the elderly. She also worked as an Activities Coordinator with residents with a range of neurodegenerative diseases and tailored activities to their needs and encouraged group interactions and physical activity. Her areas of interests include neurodegenerative disease, multiple sclerosis and stroke research.
