Research Database Manager
Saim Mahmood has joined the Academic Unit for Ageing and Stroke Research in November 2017 as Research Database Manager. He is working on the database for CARE 75+ Study, NIHR CLAHRC for Yorkshire and Humber.
After doing degree in Computer Sciences, Saim completed MSc in, Information and Technology and later on also acquired Masters in, International Business and Management from University of Westminster, London.UK. Since then he had over fifteen years of experience in Information Technology in various sectors.
Prior to joining the research team, he has been Principal Information Analyst for Southwest Yorkshire NHS Foundation Trust over last four years working on various projects like creating National Datasets for various submissions to NHS digital (Mental health, Forensic, IAPT etc.). Besides NHS, he also has experience in private and industrial sector.
