
Research Project Manager
Satti Saggu is a Research Project Manager in the Academic Unit of Elderly Care and Rehabilitation. He is responsible for the delivery of the DOSS study investigating the use of a Delirium Observational Screening Scale for the detection of Delirium in a care home setting. Satti also has the oversight for the management of the MOCHA study which is centred on the understanding and optimisation of community hospital wards in the NHS.
Satti’s previous roles have been focused on the development and engagement in primary care research. He has worked for the Yorkshire and Humber Commissioning Support assisting with the application of research evidence in commissioning decisions. His work with the NIHR Primary Care Research Network required the facilitation of research in both a general practice and pharmacy setting.
Satti is currently a NIHR GCP facilitator which has allowed him to develop his insights into the regulatory and practical delivery requirements of research.
