Seline is currently working as Trial Manager on the RECREATE programme grant and is responsible for managing the trial of an intervention to reduce sedentary behaviour in patients after stroke and improve outcomes.
Seline has worked in the Academic Unit for Ageing and Stroke Research since 2010, working across a range of projects in elderly care and stroke. She previously worked as Trial Manager on the LoTS2Care programme grant and was responsible for managing the feasibility trial of a longer-term care strategy to support stroke survivors and their carers. She has also been involved in updating Cochrane systematic reviews, including the review on Physical rehabilitation for older people in long term care and is currently working on a Cochrane overview of reviews of non-pharmacological interventions for longer-term stroke survivors or their carers.
Seline has a PhD evaluating the validity of brief cognitive tests in identifying mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in older people in the community. She was a co-applicant on the NIHR Research for Patient Benefit grant that funded the study.
