Lead Research Sister
Rachel qualified as a Paediatric nurse in 2002 and has worked in a variety of care settings ranging from a Neonatal unit, a general paediatric ward, day case surgery to a Childrens Community nurse in Liverpool and Bradford. Rachel moved into research in 2013 looking for a new direction in her career and became Children’s Lead Research nurse in December 2016. This involves managing the local team and also acting as one of the cluster leads for Yorkshire and Humber Clinical Research Network. Rachel is keen for us to give the opportunity to as many children and their families as possible to take part in research.
