Research Nurse
Wendy has been a Registered Nurse since 1985 qualifying at Bradford School of Nursing. Following qualification she worked on the thoracic ward as a staff nurse until leaving to gain a Management Diploma and BA (Hons) Degree from the University of Bradford.
On return to the NHS she worked in elderly care and then as a diabetes staff nurse where she began to take an interest in research, working part time as a Research Nurse in Diabetes from 2005. During this period she worked on many diabetes related, innovative studies until taking up a full time position as a wound care Research Nurse in 2010. Since then she has been involved in both Portfolio and Commercial Research Studies.
Wendy started working for the GI team in 2015 and she is currently working towards her MSc at Bradford University.
