Research Sister
Jodi graduated from the University of Bradford in 2005, with an advanced diploma in adult nursing and successfully completed a BSc in nursing practice in 2010.
Jodi joined the renal team in 2009, working in both peritoneal and haemodialysis, having previously worked in medicine and intensive care settings within the Trust. Jodi was appointed to the role of renal research sister in 2014 and manages a portfolio of commercial and non-commercial research studies within the speciality. She completed a module on the care and management of renal patients in 2016, this has helped greatly in the management of nephrology, transplant and dialysis studies. Jodi is currently principal investigator in a study looking at the quality of life in couples starting dialysis. Jodi actively promotes evidence based practice within the renal unit and is a mentor to student nurses.
