Consultant Nephrologist
Dr Roberts gained his MB BChir degree (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) from the University of Cambridge in 1990, and gained a Diploma of Medical Science in 1994 from Newcastle University. Dr Roberts took up the post of consultant nephrologist in 2001 and was until recently the clinical lead in nephrology. He is also Associate International Director for the Royal College of Physicians. Dr Roberts has published papers in peer reviewed journals and is co-author of a book chapter. He has been principal investigator in historic studies and is sub investigator in current studies.
