Victoria.Drew@bthft.nhs.uk

Since qualifying in 2005, I have worked in Haematology, first as a staff nurse at Airedale General Hospital on the Cancer specialist ward, and then in 2009 I moved into research here at Bradford. I have been the Lead Research Nurse since 2012.  I have a special interest in Lymphoma and Leukaemia.

I am an active member of the Research Practice Network, and am the lead for the Research Education work stream, delivering education sessions around research to undergraduate nurses and arranging clinical placements in research for the students. I also deliver an Introduction to Cancer course for researchers new to cancer.  I am the Chair for the Yorkshire and Humber Senior Cancer Research Nurse’s Forum which meet quarterly to review research performance and share good practice.

I have also been awarded an MSc in Advanced Nursing Practice.
